Spring has finally arrived in New England. I'm enjoying the nice weather by wandering the woods with my camera and looking for interesting photo opportunities. Understanding light is still a big weakness for me. I realized that the reason I've been having problems with photos looking blue is that I had the wrong white balance. On a sunny day like today shadows were a bitch so all the pictures I took of us walking the dogs through the woods weren't worth saving, but this landscape of Hearthside came out nice.
